Hello! Welcome to our Wedding Website, your hub for all things our wedding. We are Floris A. Bannister and Max R. Lafontant. We're getting married and if you've received a message from us leading you to this website, you're invited to our wedding. Don't wait on an invitation in the mail because we will be using this website in lieu of printed mailings in an effort to be both eco-friendly and economical.
Technology is fun and we've tried to make this website as user-friendly as possible. For those of you not so familiar with navigating the web, here's a brief 101 class on using this site. Up above, beneath the banner that says "Floris & Max's Wedding Site," you will see a pages bar. This has links to all the pages available on this website. You are currently on the Home page, which is a blog (a shared on-line journal). Here, we will post updates and fun pictures somewhat regularly (or as often as we remember to). To navigate to another page, click on the name of the page you want to get to. Some pages (like the Floris & Max page) have sub-pages, which you can reach by first hovering over the name of the main page. This makes a drop-down menu appear, revealing the sub-pages. Throughout the website, you will see some text that is blue (like so) and turns green when you hover your pointer over them. This shows that the text is linked to another page: if you click on it, it will take you to another page, either on this website or to an external page.
If you ever find something that isn't working on the site or if something just isn't there, let us know. We've provided a few ways to reach us on the Contact Us page, or you can also comment on this blog post. In the mean time, be sure to check out your video Save the Date, give us your contact information in the Address Book, and explore the website.
